High Tide Aviation is proud to congratulate Dan Wilcox on being recognized as an American Bonanza Society (ABS) Recognized Flight Instructor. This achievement reflects the preparation, experience, and commitment to continued learning that Dan brings to aviation.

We are especially excited to celebrate this milestone because great instructors shape great pilots. Dan’s recognition represents the kind of professional growth we value across the High Tide Aviation team: instructors continuing to sharpen their knowledge so they can better serve the pilots who trust us with their training.

Congratulations, Dan

Becoming an ABS Recognized Flight Instructor is a meaningful professional accomplishment. The American Bonanza Society program recognizes certificated flight instructors who meet defined experience standards and complete type-specific instructor training through the ABS Air Safety Foundation.

The program is focused on instruction in Beechcraft Bonanzas, Debonairs, Barons, and Travel Airs. You want to learn more about the program details visit the official ABS Recognized Flight Instructor program overview.

Dan earned this recognition as an individual instructor, and our entire team is proud to celebrate him. His accomplishment adds to the knowledge and aircraft-specific experience available within the community.

His achievement reflects the strength of our instructor team

Every instructor brings something valuable to a flight school: technical knowledge, patience, sound judgment, and the ability to meet a pilot where they are. Those qualities help a first-time student feel comfortable in the cockpit and help an experienced pilot approach advanced training with purpose.

Dan’s recognition is another example of the dedication found throughout High Tide Aviation. Our instructors keep learning because aviation always gives us another standard to reach for, another system to understand, and another opportunity to help a pilot grow.

That culture matters during every stage of training. Whether someone is making a first radio call, preparing for a checkride, returning after time away, or learning a different aircraft, an invested instructor can make the path clearer and more rewarding. Meet more of the people behind that experience on our story and team page.

Beechcraft knowledge has a home at High Tide

The recognition also connects naturally with the aircraft and pilots we serve. Our fleet includes a Beechcraft Bonanza available for dual instruction, giving pilots access to an advanced training aircraft with modern Garmin avionics.

Aircraft-specific knowledge helps an instructor guide productive conversations about systems, avionics, procedures, workload, and proficiency. The lesson can then be shaped around the pilot’s experience and the airplane in front of them.

Dan’s accomplishment gives us one more reason to be excited about the future of instruction at High Tide. It strengthens a team already united by a shared commitment to helping pilots learn, improve, and enjoy aviation.

Join us in congratulating Dan

Achievements like this deserve to be celebrated. Congratulations, Dan, on becoming an ABS Recognized Flight Instructor. We are proud to have your knowledge, dedication, and continued professional growth represented within the High Tide Aviation community.

We are equally proud of the instructors who show up each day ready to teach, encourage, challenge, and support our pilots. Their commitment is a central part of the High Tide experience, and Dan’s recognition gives all of us another milestone to celebrate together.
